Installing repository for Designer 6i [message #78137]

Hi,
I have installed Oracle 8.1.5 Enterprise Edition on Win2k. Then I installed Designer 6i on same box.

While installing repository, i got the following message -

CDR 21244-This process has been aborted.

The oracle website says "Install the Oracle Designer 6i import/export tools in oracle-home other than the one used for Designer". When I tried to do that, the oracle installer refused to install the import/export tool anywhere else other than DEFAULT_HOME where designer 6i is already installed.

First how can I install designer 6i import/export tool in another home? Or is there any workaround to this problem?

Just an idea: try to install the import/export tool using the Oracle Installer,
