When I install a repoistory instance , it shows the
errors.(windows98se)
----
Message
-------
CDR-21207: Executable File Not Found.

Cause
-----
The RAU was making an a call to another executable which it was
unable to invoke.

Action
------
The two main causes are:
1. Check the RAU Parameters screen to see if any of the Registry
variables for EXECUTE_<executable_name>.. are UNDEFINED or spelt
incorrectly
2. The executable name is not available on the client, try running
it manually from the command line

What should I do £¿

Is this a new or existing Designer Repository?

Do you have your developer directory in the Forms Path?

What did the installation guide say about 'homes' and order of install in relation to Forms?

I'm sorry but I am a bit pressed for time today to check it myself, but the software will tell you.

Try installing the Designer AGAIN but this time into your forms directory. See what it says. I have a feeling that you need to install them both into the same home as the designer uses the forms executibles to do some of its work, and forms has to go in after designer so that it knows what 'paths' have to be updated.

Worse case scenario: uninstall Designer, delete the home using the 'home manager' or editing the 'regester', install the designer into the forms home and then reinstall forms over itself. (This is not going to cause any extra problems and is easier than uninstalling forms and losing your manual register changes).

Dear David
I did all them, but I think I have problem with IMP.EXE and EXP.EXE files, because they are not installed on my client. I have to install them but when I am installing them, I get a error. I have a feeling that I have to download the latest release of Designer 6i.
Thanks for your help.
