cannot insert from remote db [message #74986]

Hi guys,

I have the following prob. I try to insert a row from a remote database via a database link. This single row insert statement creates massive rollback segment consumption (~400mb) until it exceeds my extents. When I create a table with the same row it takes only a blink to fullfil.

Does anybody have an idea whats wrong? Thanks
