Follow the instructions as described in the following manuals:

1) Oracle9i Real Application Clusters Setup and Configuration Guide.

2) Chapter 3 of the "Oracle9i Database Migration" Guide: Upgrading a Database to the New Oracle9i Release.

I have the same scenario, planning to migrate to 9.2.0 RAC. If you have already migrated, I appreciate your expert recommendation.
