RAC ping request?

Hi,

RAC is the newer and enhanced version of Oracle's Parallel Server.

A ping is a request to write a data block from cache to disk so that another instance can read that block. RAC's cache fusion technology eliminates pinging by transferring blocks across the interconnect.
