Hi Gurus

I am new al rman, so I am planning a backup strategy; my DB is 30 GB, it is very transactional (7x24) and every day grows 0.3 GB; the BD could need being  one month ago; further the time to recovery must be short. how do I get it?

Thanks a lot

look into RMAN.
as per your post --> the time to recovery must be short
depends on how much resource u have for rman.
More CPU's, more channels may help rman.
look into RMAN tuning in RMAN doc.
usually I wont worry about my restoration time, AS restoration is something that happens when things go really bad!.
Then I am already in big trouble. Priority would be to recover and restore database without any data loss.
