I have installed Oracle 8i and i am new to it.
I want to run Oracle Enterprise Manager. It asks for Administrator, Password & Management Server. I have tried all passwords up to my knowledge but it doesn't allow me to enter.
Can anybody tell me whats is the default password to login and also what is meant by the term "Management Server".

Thanks

Management server is used to use all the panels of OEM.

For this first get the "configuration assistant" from the menu, create a new repository and then start the oem, sure to check that the services for the managment server has been started. after click on managment server it will ask for the username and password type

user name => sysman
password => oem_temp

it will start the oem successfully

you can also create new user by click on add administrative user from the menu bar
