Hi !
I'm thinking of installing a Oracle 9i on a database server, to be the db of a webapplication, but the it must be possible for the users to copy/replicate data from the server db, to a local db on their e.g. laptop to work even if not online. Is there a tool that can handle this scenario. (it must be possible to update the server db from the laptop when online again ).
And:
do the users have to install (and buy) a Personal Oracle 9 version, handling the above scenario ?

Thanx
/Hans

you can script the repliction process manually and execute it on deman.
1. export the datbase from source to the laptop, when online / in the network
2. import the data into laptop
