Hi,
I was setting up configurations for the oracle Intelligent Agent (9.2.0) on Solaris 8.
Chapter 2, Section "Roles and Users REquired by the Intelligent Agent" asks to verify if the SNMPAGENT role exists in the database by giving "Select * from dba_roles".
If the "SNMPAGENT" role does not exist it advises to run 'catsnmp.sql' as sys on the database.
I ran catsnmp.sql on the database and still I don'thave the snmpagent role. I can logon to the database as dbsnmp user. But when I run catsnmp.sql on the database I get the following (with one error). How do I fix this and make the SNMPAGENT role appear in the dba roles. This happens on all databases.
I think we have to fix this and make the role appear, because my jobs submitted from OEM fail without any error messsage.
Error when running catsnmp.sql on database:
