Hi,

I installed Oracle 8i enterprise edition under W2K,
I can access my database by SQL*PLUS.
and after I create Repository, I can run Enterprise Manager. However, I can't see Database subitem under Network! the Quick Tour has Database subitem. I tried whatever I can, but still can't figure it out.

Any help will be appreciated.

James

In the oem navigation tools....u can find one option..........as 'discover nodes'...if u want databases on nodes to be displayed in the tree u have to discover the node where the database is located...and for that.enter the node name...host name...and agent must be running on the node where the database is located....then only node will be discovered..once node is identified click the databases in the tree...u will see it.......
bye...
