Environment:

Oracle8 Enterpise Edition Release 8.0.5.0.0-Production
PL/SQL Release 8.0.5.0.0-Production

Oracle Enterprise Manager(TM) Version 1.6 Production

Windows NT 4.0 EE SP6a - MSCS 2 node Cluster.

I was trying to manage the "export utility" thru job, so I have created one job with Enterprise Manager in order to export data from a Oracle DB to a DMP file.
The job fail.

Now I have the following situation:
Under "active jobs" I see:

Status: Pending Deletion
When: Awaiting agent confirmation

I am not able to delete this entry on the "active jobs" tab.
I have already try to move Oracle from one node to the other node of the cluster without result.

What can I do to delete this message under the "active jobs" tabs?.

Thank you a lot for your help.

Franco.

This may be due to the Mangement Server being unable to contact the agent at the node. Create a test job for the node which just runs an OS command like DIR. If this problem continues to not work, then you may need to remove the *.q files in the $oracle_home/network/agent directory and stop/start the agent service.
