I have got dbf files on my c drive which is having huge data, now the problem is that the drive has got full and I want to extend the database on some other drive which do have space.I have heard about a utility which is gui based which can do this easliy, but the problem I suppose is that this utility comes with 8.1.6 while I have 8.1.5 version on my system. So I am confused what to do.Can I use this very utility with the version I have or can I have use some other methodology to enable my new data to be placed in another drive.
This is very urgent for me,hope I get a prompt response

HI,

You don't need a utility. Copy the files to the new destination and then make a "alter database rename file".
