Hi,
I have a few queries on Oracle Internet Directory 10g. Would appreciate if anyone could assist. Thanks.
1. rootDSE entry
In the administrator documentation of OID (10g), it was mentioned that the following attributes could be changed using the ldapmodify command at the rootDSE entry.
a. Audit Level (orclauditlevel)
b. Debug flag (orcldebugflag)
c. Password encryption Field (orclCryptoScheme)
i. At which part of the directory does the rootDSE entry sits? Please provide the Full Distinguish Name for this entry if applicable.
ii. Can the values of the attributes (rootDSE entry) be retrieved using the ldapsearch command-line tool?
iii. Where are the configurations of the directory server instance stored? If there are stored in the Oracle Database, please specify the table names.
2. Audit Trails
a. Does the audit trial at cn=auditlog records updates done to the user accounts stored in the Oracle Internet Directory? (Example of update includes Password change, etc)?
b. Are we able to retrieve the log entries using the ldapsearch command-line tool?
3. Super Users, Guests, Proxy Accounts
Where are the super user, guest and proxy accounts stored? Please specify the Oracle Table name or the full Distinguished Name of the entries if applicable.
