How to turn on Tracing? nmi.log [message #67579] |

Hi All,
In Oracle 8.1.7 nmi.log file I am getting the below message. I want to know how can I start tracing (I know some parameter in init.ora file, but what is that parameter) and what are the advantage and disadvantage of it.
