Hi,
It seems to be client installation was not successfull on this PC. Please reinstall the client and test it.
- Make sure that Oracle Networking Products have been installed including tcp/ip protocol adapter.
- Check the ORACLE_HOME is pointing to it's original path.
- Check are you able to connect to any UNIX SERVER using telnet session? since telnet session also uses tcp protocol.
Thanks,
Venkanna Mittakanti.
