I was trying to connect to my Oracle 8i Database through Form6 when I got this message Unable to connect to database ORA -12154 TNS: Could not resolve service name.
I got this same message for Report6i as well.
But I was able to connect to the database using SQL+ ,I can't figure out where the problem is coming from.
I am running the application on my laptop.
Please can you help.

SIR,

1.CONFIGURE THE SQLNET.ORA(IF NEEDED)
2.CONFIGURE THE LISTENER.ORA AND START THE LISTENER PROCESS
3.CONFIGURE THE TNSNAMES.ORA FILE
