OK, I'm having problems with that issue too.
The problem for us seems to stem from the fact that the client seems to vary each time a connection made. So we can't give our folks a consistent port for them to open.

We Know there are a port rank in which the server is responding, we don't Know how we can establish the out port in Oracle Home.

So I was looking for a solution and I found your mail. We are in the same problem, so I would be grateful for your help.

Look on this board for the registry entry "USE_SHARED_SOCKET" and you will find out how to do this.
