Hi,

For example, I know we can join v$session with v$process. However, which columns can be used for this join.

Same goes for a variety of tables:

v$statname, v$sysstat, v$sgastat, v$event_name, v$system_event etc ....

Is there anywhere a document detailing how to joing these performance views??

Thanks ... IA.

v$session.paddr=V$process.addr

You can get the definition of these views from the Reference manual and Performance tuning guide.

Also ,if you have any specific questions, you can always ask here..
