We are facing a strange problem.we has a desk top (win2k) used for Oracle server for development purposes. We upgraded the RAM from 256 MB to 1 GB just today. And we see that our applications (pl/sql)are taking considerably more time compared to previously.

Is there something else which we have to take care to overcome this? or is there anything else which I can try ?

Please help me out with this.

Hi,

Your problem is most likely on the operating system side. For example, your system might be swapping because you've increased the memory without increasing the swap space.

Best regards.
