Hi,
I'm not able to perform a level 0(full) backup on one of my ORACLE databases. The backup was working before, but for some strange reason do not want to work now.

My setup is as follows:
ORACLE version = 8.1.6
Legato Networker version = 5.5
Operating system = Solaris 8

I have 3 production databases and 1 recovery database, where the recovery catalog is situated.
I use Legato Networker to backup to tape.

The level 0 backup for 2 of the 3 database gives no problem.
The concerned database always fails with the same error "Volume 795832436 not found", although different tapes, with different labels, are used.
According to the ORA message, the problem is on Networker, but why is the backup working for the other 2 databases.

As soon as I do a incremental backup, I get no errors.

Here is an extract from the backup output:
doing instance : sxlog

Has anybody had the same error before? If so, what was the resolution?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

We have the same problem since we have migrated in Oracle 9.2.0.3.
Did you find a solution ?

Thanks.
