Dear Friends ,

I am using Oracle19c database .

I need to have some queries regarding dba_scheduler_windows views .

I have confused about the field name 'DURATION; from "dba_scheduler_windows" view .

 As per oracle doc it means "Duration of the window" .
I found some value already mentioned here by system default .

my question ,

1. If DURATION is 2 hours , then what happen ? all necessary tasks will completed within 2 hours . But if it is not possible to complete
within this 2 hours , what will be happen ?

2. why DURATION is more for the WONDOW of SATURDAY and FRIDAY ?

1. If you look up the dbms_scheduler.set_attribute procedure, this should become clear.
2. I'm guessing that you are referring to the default maintenance windows. All the detail is here:

(btw, I wish you wouldn't say "field" when you mean "column" Smile  )
