Hi everyone,

Is there any way to insall and configure oracle 11g Database on Oracle Linux 8.4.
If yes, then which packages I have to install to fulfill this requirement.

The installer should report any problems, what does it say?

but my question is to install 11G on Linux 8.

I have tried but it gives below error during link binaries.

Error in invoking target 'idg4odbc' of makefile 'ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk'. See log for details.

into MOS what do you find? Or perhaps there are more errors in the log that you can research. Seriously, man, you have to put a bit of effort into problem solving.

DB 11.2.0.4 is certified for OEL8, you know.
