Hi,

Developer complaint that job is failing with below error i.e due to lack of space on temp tablespace.

ORA-30928: Connect by filtering phase runs out of temp tablespace

So I added 25 GB space to the temp tablespace.But after adding 25 GB to the temp tablespace I found
file system size for the temp tablespace was 100% full.I have now dropped the tempfile which I added with size 25 GB.
After dropping the tempfile I found file system utilization was just reduced by 1% which is 99% utilized.

Kindly note that there is an automatic job that manages the temp tablespace size. ( Wasn't aware of this)

Could you please let me know how to fix this issue.

ORA-30928: Connect by filtering phase runs out of temp tablespace
 *Cause:  It is probably caused by the fact that there is a loop in the data.
 *Action: Please retry the query with the NO_FILTERING hint. If the same error
          still occurs, then increase temp tablespace.
