Hi to all,

I have installed Oracle database server 19c on oracle Linux 8 for training purpose.

When I log into Enterprise Manager I see only the "Performance Hub" tab and no other tab.

Can anyone confirm me that the Enterprise Manager "Performance Hub" tab on Oracle database server 19c is the only tab?

Also, I have tried to switch to the old version of Enterprise Manager using the statement
@?/rdbms/admin/execemx emx
but not working because flash player is missing in the browser and no longer supported.

Thanks in advance.

You'll get more tabs if you apply the latest RU. But you can't do that on a system that isn't covered by a support contract.
However, if it is for training purposes, I wouldn't bother. Better to install Cloud Control.

Thanks for the response John

Truthfully, it's for DBA OCA Certification Exam (1Z0-062) purpose which I'm studying, rather than simply personal training purpose.

How can we learn to use the Database Express Enterprise Manager in order to pass some certification objectives in which is required the knowledge of Enterprise Manager?

I think (but I have not tried) that if we install the 12c version on Oracle Linux 7 we have the same problem, because flash player technology do not longer supported at all.

I wrote the Oracle Press book for that exam.
It was many years ago, but I don't recall there being many questions (if any) about OEM DB Express. You might get a couple of Qs about which tool (OEM, DBCA, OUI, NetCA, SQl Dev, any others you can think of) you can use for certain jobs. For instance, which one(s) can create a database, or a tablespace. No promises, but that would probably be it.

Anyway many thanks for the clarification

Well, I hope it's useful. One thing - do not rely on the demo questions, I'm sure they will all have been changed hugely in the years since then.
I won't say "good luck with the exam" because I am a scientist: I don't believe in luck. Hope it goes well.

absolutely not, I don't rely on the demo questions, I take them with the right weight.

If anything is unclear, i construct an example and see what happens. When I have any doubt, I try it out. Test everything.

I hope so well!

Many thanks.
