This may not be the correct location for this post, and if that's the case I apologise.

We have a system which run lost of scheduled jobs, nothing unusual, but a very small number go BROKEN. They become BROKEN after 3 failures, but are setup in the same way as all other jobs, which in this case also fail multiple times.

The reason they fail is valid. We have replicated the jobs set up, rebuilt the jobs, and confirm that failure reason doesn't cause any other jobs to become BROKEN.

Is there a hidden field somewhere that hold a failover count that isn't reset when the job is re-enabled?
Is there a max Failure column in the database that for some reason may be defaulting differently for this job?

Thanks for reading.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Welcome to the forum.
Please read the OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read.

I've moved your topic to the Server Administration forum. You probably need to provide a bit more information before anyone can help: the job creation statement, what the failure is, and so on.
