Hello everyone ,

i have a physical sever with total 12 socket ( cluster 6+6) , i purchased a license oracle EE with 12 socket in total .

how many VMs can deploy in this physical server .?

EE is licensed per core, not per socket, so something is seriously wrong here!
Maybe contact Oracle for clarification.

If it's a stand-alone cluster, and you licensed all cores on it, I guess you can deploy as many VMs as you can fit on it.

ALL licensing questions should be directed to your Oracle marketing guy.

If Oracle decides to audit your installation (yes, it does happen) you don't want your defense to be "some stranger on the internet told me it would be OK."
