Hi,
I'm a PL/SQL developer, but since I'm about to start a DBA junior course and I'd like to have a test workspace for testing (manage tablespace, create user, REDO management, Backup and Recovery with RMAN, ...) have you got any free way on cloud to advise me for DBA trial? I've found this link https://www.oracle.com/cloud/free/ but before registering, I'd like to know if someone here has already registered and tell me if it's possible to practice as DBA

Thanks in advance

Mark

Sure that works, you get two little VMs, two Autonomous databases, and a load balancer, all for free (though with some limitations). Try it! I am not sure how easy it will be to get started if you are not already familiar with DBA work, and also anything to do with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is horrifically complicated. You have been warned Sad

You might be better off downloading the database software, installing it your PC, and creating your own databases there:

I suggest that you install Oracle DB on local test system or at least install VIRTUALBOX & then load a VM which contains Oracle DB.
Then you are free to do as much "destructive" testing to learn how Oracle behaves & normal support activity
