We have an application that utilisizes Weblogic RMI(T3).
It run smoothly and executed successfully when the application is launched within the server. But when it is accessed via vpn. It slows 2 to 4x leading to timeout exceeded exception

This is a very well-known and one of the most logical problems of our time. Let's look at what a VPN is and what servers it uses. First, when you connect to a specific server, you can see how busy this server is at the moment. You should be well aware that when the same server is used by a huge number of people, the Internet connection will not be the same as when you use your own server on which only you are sitting. Despite this, there are VPNs which provide servers, on which the Internet will be even better than on your home one.

For such cases I would higly recommend you to use vps called Time4VPS. Time4VPS is a division of the company ‘Interneto vizija’ which was founded in 2003 and quickly grew to serve more than 100,000 clients across Europe.
