Hi
We have an enterprise oracle database 11.2.0.4 on HP UX 11.31.Sometimes the number of active sessions get high waiting for "Disk file operations I/O" wait event. A look at this event parameters indicates there is a wait on OSM File.
P1: 2 which mean File Open
P2: 0 file_no
P3:15 which means OSM File
After rebooting the OS the problem disappears for a while.
As long as OSM Files are part of weblogic component, I cannot understand what is OSM File do in oracle database and how can i disable or manage it?
Can any one help me find the problem?
