Not that this is a problem, more pain in the ... you know what.
I'm logged on now. There's a good chance that - when I visit the forum tomorrow - I'll be logged out and will have to log on again. It's annoying.
I'm accessing the site from home and work. Both computers run on MS Windows 7 Enterprise (regularly patched); browser is Mozilla Firefox (the latest version) which synchronizes itself over all my devices.
Does something similar happen to the rest of you? Any idea what might be wrong? Because, I don't have such problems on other sites I visit.

I ave noticed being logged out too in recent weeks. For me it is not what my American colleagues call a "PITA" as I have the u/p saved by my browser (Chrome) so it goes straight in anyway. Can Firefox do that?

Yes, I too noticed it. Now it seems fixed. However, I see ads covering full screen which I never saw earlier. There is an option to close the ad on top right hand side. I know ads are required for site's maintenance, but full screen ads could be annoying at times.

I could now conclude that apart from full screen ads, the log out issues and slow login problem seems to be fixed. I wasn't logged out in past 24 hours or so.

Update:
I still see slow performance while performing actions like edit a comment, or reload a page etc. It's an intermittent behavior.
