I'm having problems with two systems:
SE2, 2 node RAC, Windows, going to 18c (can't go to 19c because SE RAC isn't available in 19)
EE Exadata 1/8th rack, going to 19c
Both are stuck with P1 TARs that are going nowhere for days (or weeks). The Exa system is particularly annoying because it is Platinum Support that is doing the work and they really should know better.
Previously I have upgraded 12.1 to 12.2 OK, but now that 12.1 is in extended support the last few customers are going direct to 18 or 19. Is anyone else having problems with this sort of upgrade? Am I the only one, or is it a common problem? I'm not hoping for any technical advice, just wanting to know if problems are wide spread. Might help with future planning.
