We are using Oracle 12c on windows.
This is a test environment. and we are testing a long process that runs step by step.
We created a couple of guaranteed restore point on steps that need possibly recover if any failure happened during the process.
Now the process done successfully, but since our guaranteed restore point is till turned on, the space is run off. and database is hang. We asked network engineer to add space to the data drive. Now it works.
But it will fill up soon again since people still work on the server.
What should we do now since our database admin is absent for a couple of days. If we drop the guaranteed restore point, will that spare some space on the fast recovery area? Currently we have the test database archive log on, flash database on and guranteed restore point on?
Thanks
