The January quarterly patch for Windows also has this one,

Patch 28994063: WINDOWS ORACLE JAVAVM COMPONENT BUNDLE PATCH 12.1.0.2.190115

It isn't RAC rolling installable, so you have to shutdown the entire database. Then to run datapatch, you have temporarily to set cluster_database=false which is ridiculous. Any thoughts on this? How important do you think the patch might be? The user code running in this database doesn't use any Java, but of course Oracle utilities do.

Thank you for any insight.

update - I should say that it isn't only 12.1.0.2 on Windows, it is the same for all releases and platforms.
