Dear all,

Is there any benefits of using one PDB?

from https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/12.2/dblic/Licensing-Information.html#GUID-0F9EB85D-4610-4EDF-89C2-4916A0E 7AC87

SE2 only allow one PDB, as such I'm not too sure whether it has any real benefits or not.

let me know your opinion.

many thanks in advance!

My opinion? You are looking at this in the wrong way. From the Database Upgrade Guide:Quote:
The non-CDB architecture was deprecated in Oracle Database 12c. It can be desupported and unavailable in a release after Oracle Database 19c .
So in about 15 months, there will no longer be an option. Just make the change, it is about time. It is over five years since 12c came out: not exactly new technology.
