Hi People,

Greetings!

I am working on an upgrade assignment and I require some help to identify if the below tables are obsolete in R12 and if yes, what are the replacement tables?

1. financial_system_parameters
2. ap_system_parameters

Current version:
------------------
RDBMS : 11.2.0.3.0
Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2

Upgrade version:
------------------
RDBMS : 11.2.0.3.0
Oracle Applications : 12.1.3

Have you look at the docs, on http://etrm.oracle.com you will find that ap_system_parameters is indeed an EBS supplied object and financial_system_parameters is not. Have you been creating your own objects in the supplied schemas?

Hi John,

Thank you for writing.

Sorry for the typo, it is FINANCIALS_SYSTEM_PARAMETERS, not FINANCIAL_SYSTEM_PARAMETERS.

FINANCIALS_SYSTEM_PARAMETERS - This exists in 11.x versions It is a seeded view in APPS schema. I am looking for it's replacement in R12.1.3.

You have not looked at the docs, have you? Even though I gave you the link. It is a view in the APPS schema in 11.5.10, it is a synonym in the APPS schema in 12.2.2. What's the problem? Do you not trust the upgrade process to sort it all out?
