Hello,

I have been having problems in installing Oracle 12c BI. On the page where we have option to either 'create new schemas' or 'use existing schemas', I choose 'use existing schemas' and fill in all the details but I keep getting ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol error. Below is the screenshot.

Could someone please help on this asap. I have been stuck at this stage since yesterday and have tried all the suggestions that I could gather through Google. BTW this is a fresh install and not an upgrade.

I think that your connect string is not correct, try this
localhost:1521/pdborcl
