Hello Team,

I am getting the below error in alert log file. I need your help to resolve this.

Errors in file /mnt/tfr/oracle/diag/rdbms/tfrdb1/tfrdb/trace/tfrdb_j000_27002.trc:
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job "SYS"."ORA$AT_OS_OPT_SY_27214"
ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS_INTERNAL", line 248
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS_INTERNAL", line 3847
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 42399
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 42599

ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object %s%s%s%s%s
 *Cause:  While waiting to lock a library object, a timeout occurred.
 *Action: Retry the operation later.

Have a look at trace file.
Have a look at what does the job do and which object it uses.

Hi Michel, Thanks for your suggestion. this issue is not reported again. We have retried the operation again & found that the operation is completed successfully.
