Hi All,

I have installed Oracle 12.2 on a Windows 2012 R2 server, I have followed the guides to setup Oracle EM but the page isn't working. A simple/silly question that I can't seem to find the answer for is Oracle EM in 12.2 a separate install now or still included in the base installer?

I installed grid control 12.2 on linux environment, the most problems encountered are network related.

I am assuming you installed successfully, but user can not get in because firewall port not opened.

Hi Scott,

With the installers there were about 10 zip files, I downloaded the ones for the Oracle Database SE2 (includes Oracle Database SE2, Oracle RAC, and Deinstall) so I need to install grid control as well. Just an FYI - We are only using Standard not Enterprise edition.

Which OEM do you want? If it is OEM Database Express, then it is already installed into your database. All you need do is enable an http listening end point with the dbms_xdb_config.sethttpport() procedure.

If you want OEM Cloud Control, then you have a lot more to do.
