Looks like Larry is preparing to launch Oracle 12cR2 on 1 June 2016:

SQL Server 2016 will be GA (generally available) on the same day.

It will be 'everything built-in' (SQL2016's slogan) vs. more paid options for us, but Oracle usually has same fantastic technology to counter the onslaught.

I had a TAR the other day to do with Unified Audit, and the Support person told me this:
"The developers have redesigned the entire Unified Auditing infrastructure in 12.2 and currently they are working to get it backported to 12.1. The plan is to have all the fixes included in the July PSU ( should be released around July 15th) "
They could hardly release a back-ported feature as a patch before releasing it for real. So my bet is before 15 July.
