Big Hi to everyone in this forum,

I am Udhaya Kumar working in rak ceramics Sudan as a IT Executive. My duties are to check all our Oracle Databases, Application and Database server,Backup and recovery, maintenance of ERP.

Recently, I visited one blog of Mr. Halim and read article about DBA daily activities.
http://halimdba.blogspot.com/2015/07/daily-oracle-dba-checklist-for.html#uds-search-results

I have a one doubt on the first point...Suppose if i have more than 20 Databases...Should i login to every databases to check all the databases are up and running???.
1) is there any other script to check all the databases are up in my environment???.
2) or else is there any other possible way and easiest way to check all the databases are running???

Because, It is taking more time to login to all databases and checking the instances are up and running.
So, i will appreciate, if anybody will give the solution???...

You could use monitoring software that does those checks reguraly or script it yourself. (EM, SCOM, Nagios, ...)
Oracle recommends enterprise-manager
