recover missing delete /usr/* [message #638219]

hi
A colleague of mine accidentally deleted /usr/* data by running: rm -rf /usr/*. And it's now a big issue.
We had a lot of good data on that machine. Most of the commands are not working as a result.
Is there anyway I can recover the machine?
