hello
can you tell me the simple steps if i want to installl new 11g application server on my windows server 2008,i want to install this application server with this oracle forms,reports,portal and discover.then i want to use my 10g fmx file on this 11g applicaiton server .
i serach on google so much different diffrent steps i find like
1. Install certified JDK
2. Install weblogic 10.3.6
3. Install Forms and Reports

some say also creaete repositry using RCU

i am not familiar with this 11g application server.i install 10g application server in this two phase

first
Installation Type Identity Management and Metadata Repository
Version 10.1.2.0.2

then second phase

Installation Type Business Intelligence and Forms

Version 10.1.2.0.2
..
so before upgrading this my 10g application server we want to install 11g application server on another server then check forms and reports on this 11g application server.so can anybody help me in this

yes i have download all this software
latest jdk and weblogic server 10.3.6 and oracle forms and reports 11.1.2.2
its enough or any more software i have to download john

john i install oracle 10g application server.
i google and read this document also.but still i am confued installation steps
what to i have install first..
rcu its necessary for this 11g application installation john.

You say that you have read the install doc. You have not said which step you find confusing.
I do not know if running the RCU is necessary for you. That will depend on how you are doing your identity management.

just john if i install this jdk than weblogic server and then oracle 11gR2 forms and reports on another server .can i use this my oracle 10g forms and reports on this.its necessary to create a RCU or not.
