I need to demonstrate performance of an application under various loads, in terms of number of concurrent sessions and requests. Architecture will be Apache sending requests to ORDS (the Apex Listener) deployed to Glassfish, a 12.1 DB and Apex 4.2.6 at the back.
Does anyone know of any way to simulate a workload? I can write simple procedures to do some queries and DMLs for this, though it would be nice to test the actual application. Ideally, I'ld like some method of capturing requests hitting the Apache and then replaying them at various speeds and in parallel: in the same way that RAT Database Replay does for database performance testing.
Any ideas? Any commonly used tools for testing this sort of thing?
Thank you for any insight.
