Hi,


A little thing bothering me ...
For an environment, I have two instances.
On the first, when I program (via Enterprise Manager) a backup I have a choice between Online mode and Offline mode.
On my second instance, I have no choice! It is always an Offline mode.


How can I have choice between offline and online? There is an option to check? (I didn't find it Sad ).

I don't really use Enterprise Manager, but an online backup of a database is only possible if the database is in archivelog mode.
