Once you download ODBC driver, extract it and you'll find the README.TXT file. Read it (it contains "Installation Instructions" you are looking for).

Hi Littlefoot,

I want to download and install (11.2.0.1.0) 32-bit and 64-bit on windows server.

To downloaded oracle client 64 bit , i followed the steps you have given in www.dbforums.com
Quote:
OTN Downloads. Choose "Database 11g Enterprise/Standard Editions. Download page includes: Client, Clusterware, Examples, Gateways" link
On 11g page, locate " Microsoft Windows (x64) File 1, File 2 (2GB) See All" and follow the "See All" link
that's where win64_11gR2_client.zip is

win64_11gR2_client.zip file does not contain readme.txt file. Can you tell me whether i have downloaded
correct zip file from oracle site ?

When i unzip the file,I see only list of files and folders under win64_11gR2_client.zip

doc
install
reponse
stage
setup
setup
welcome

Regards,

Did you search/review folders that were created when you extracted ZIP? Maybe it is not README.TXT but README.HTML or similar (I don't have your ODBC version so I can't tell for sure).

Hold on a second.

Topic title says that you want to install ODBC driver.
Text you wrote so far suggests that you downloaded Oracle Client software (win64_11gR2_client.zip). As far as I can tell (which doesn't have to be true), there's no ODBC driver in Oracle Client. You have to download it separately. I apologize if I'm wrong.

So - what do you really want to do?

@OP, I didn't hear about Oracle ODBC driver for Oracle 11g version for Windows 32 bit. Did you search and ever saw this download page http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/downloads/index-096177.html?

Did you read and understand? If it's not there, what do you think it means?
