Hi Folks,

I keep getting a warning message regarding PM utilization is over 2000000 bytes. The bar shows just 60℅ been utilized. I deleted almost 25% of the messages, but nothing changed. Does it take sometime to recalculate and enable PM? Perhaps a batch process that runs periodically. I am unaware of the reason.

P.S. : Sorry to folks to whom I am unable to reply via PM.

No idea, I've never seen that. My PM is 31% full.

Even I find it strange looking at that message about 200000 bytes, though utilization is still around 60℅.

Well, I guess, since recent past I have been always using the read notification functionality, I got too many mesaages in PM inbox. Deleted all of them Smile

Will try deleting more messages, lets see. Ele, I will post the screenshots as I don't have any other mode to explain.

Frank,

I don't know if it is the fact of your increase but I get the following:
/forum/fa/12091/0/

It says: "Your private message folders are 81% full" but progress bar is less than 60%.

I've changed the PM folder size for non-moderators (200000->500000 bytes).
Will have to check the code to see what's going on with the progress bar.

Honestly, I was cometely unaware of the trash functionality. Thanks for informing, will keep that in mind.

Frank, I was about to enquire whether this functionality is customizable based on usernames or any other condition, and you already replied. I got my answer before asking, thanks again.

P.S. : I hope the increase in space doesn't impact the site much, since I am the only one complaining. Else, as Michel suggested, I would empty the trash first.

Just a small update, my utilization bar now shows just 30% usage. Seems everything is fine.
