Hi,

Client found somebody has modified the table data and wants to know who has did it and for what purpose it was done.Could you tell me how to find out that ?

is application 3-tier?

If you want to know who, you have to activate audit.
Now you have to mine the logs.
Both are described in the documentation you have been pointed to in each of your topic.
