Hi!

I have created two node RAC (11gR2) on Vmware, is it possible to set instance to use Oracle SWAP (Extended Buffer Cache Support)?

Or it can be only tuned at Grid or DB installation?

If it is possible, please some one could guide how to do?

You are talking about the old technique for using large SGAs on 32bit Linux. I can see no reason why it would not work on a VMware virtual machine, but I doubt whether anyone has ever tried it. If you have a virtualized environment, why not use 64bit Linux? Much simpler, much more twentyfirst century.
