When i try to select from the tables, it tells me no view or table!!!!
How can i recover my data using the oracle old files: controlfile, redo and datafiles???

Please help me... Embarassed

Oracle binaries and Oracle database are independent unless you put your database files inside Oracle home which is a bad idea.
If you didn't then you can reinstall Oracle and just start the database.
But if you now screwed your files reusing them in another database as it seems you did then you lost your database; I hope you have backup of these files or even database backups.

Regards
Michel

If i put in oracle home as before the crash, i do not have to recreate tablespaces and point to the existing datafiles.
what i did!!! the database would start normaly with the old data without creating myself the tablespaces??

Carefully read again my first post.
I said it is possible ONLY if you didn't put your database files inside the Oracle home.
If you didn't then there is nothing to create as everything is there.
