Hi

I create a lot of Views. Is there an industry standard naming convention? Every company have their own naming convention?

What does Oracle recommend?

Yes.

The only things it recommends are:
1/ Do not use other characters than A-Z0-9_$# (upper case only) and start with one of A-Z
2/ Do not use a name from V$RESERVED_WORDS view

You can search for the documentation on "Naming Standards".

Here is also a good explanation by Tim Hall on Oracle Naming Conventions
